SAWO International Fair & “Safety in Action” Road Show

A series of events dedicated to companies operating in the increasingly important sector of Personal Protective Equipment, ranging from protective glasses to safety gloves. It will grant every participant the opportunity to participate in a valuable experience aimed at bridging Italian and Polish companies that work in the sector, obtaining insights, trying new products firsthand and networking with other professionals who are likewise interested in such an important field. This initiative, the “Safety in Action” Roadshow, with multiple events across multiple cities, will be kickstarted by Confindustria Polonia’s participation in the International Fair of Work Protection, Fire-Fighting and Rescue Equipment – SAWO on the 14th of April. 

Our stands will be located in Pavilion 5A, and will see the participation of our sponsors: Lanzi Group (Stand 5,57), Faraone Poland (Stand 5,181), Diadora Utility (Stand 5,158), Univet (Stand 5,159), KASK (Stand 5,157), BLS (Stand 5,72). 

It will then be followed by the first stop of the Roadshow, an event hosted at the facilities of Confindustria Polonia’s associate Faraone Poland.

Italian Excellence And Strength In The Sector

The Italian PPE Sector is a growing one, with its CAGR over a period of 10 years projected to be at about 4.61% (IMARC, 2025), due to the increased demand of workplace safety devices required by EU regulations.  

Rather than focusing on large-scale production, it focuses on high quality, and Italian companies have built up know-how, experience and highly technological products that can properly satisfy even the most demanding customers. Their small-to-medium size allows them to be more flexible, with shorter supply chains and to produce customized equipment if needed. 

Poland’s Growing Industry 

The Polish industry, particularly the manufacturing sector, has been steadily growing in the past decades, becoming a driving factor in the country’s GDP growth. Based on the EU Commission’s data, the number of SMEs grew from 1.5 million in 2015 to approximately 2.2 million in 2025. Furthermore, according to Statistics Poland, industrial real output grew by 49.2% compared to 2015, thanks to a strategic location next to Germany, structural investments and a growing population. 

The Polish PPE Market is expected to grow at high rates in the near future, with estimates of around 6.8%, one of the highest growth rates among major European economies, due to a growing economy and rising disposable incomes that lead to an increase in consumer spending on safety-related items.
